: 6:00 PM
Guests are strongly encouraged to arrive early.
Following the success of trial traffic reconfigurations at the Saskatchewan Rush game on March 24, the City of Saskatoon and SaskTel Centre are continuing to work on improving traffic flow to Rush home games. For the remainder of the season and for all other large-scale events, Apex Street will be converted to a one-way street at the intersection of Apex Street and Thatcher Avenue to accommodate two lanes of inbound traffic.
In order to improve inbound traffic from Highway 16, drivers will be required to stay in their lane once entering Marquis Drive. Traffic in the curb lane must turn right onto Bill Hunter Avenue, and traffic in the middle lane must continue east on Marquis Drive and turn right onto Thatcher Avenue.
The traffic reconfigurations will result in reduced traffic congestion for motorists entering SaskTel Centre via Thatcher Avenue/Apex Street and reduce the amount of time fans wait to park.
Other changes to the inbound traffic include:
Installing two left turn lanes for westbound traffic on Marquis Drive turning left onto Thatcher Avenue and driving south.
Not permitting stopping on Apex Street immediately east of Thatcher Avenue.
No parking on 60th Street immediately south of SaskTel Centre parking lot.
New signage plan to provide direction to drivers.
Guests are asked to use Idylwyld Drive, Millar Ave or Wanuskewin Road to Marquis Drive. Access via HWY 16 is not recommended for city traffic.
Use Saskatoon Transit from the downtown terminal on 23rd Street & 2nd Ave.
First bus departs at 5:45 PM. Last bus departs at 7:15 PM
Regular fare applies.
