Guest Services & Policies

A Guest Service location is available to answer your questions, collect lost and found, and provide assistance to guests. In addition, Guest Services can assist with finding lost guests and providing wheelchair escorts during events. Guest Services is located at Section D on the main concourse.

Guest Code of Conduct

SaskTel Centre is committed to providing an enjoyable and safe environment for all guests to experience. We are committed to exceeding our guest's expectations by providing excellent customer service. When you attend an event at SaskTel Centre, you should expect first-class service, a safe and clean environment, concessionaries that serve a variety of quality food, and courteous and knowledgeable staff. All event day staff work hand in hand at each of our events to ensure your experience is a positive one. As a guest at SaskTel Centre an individual's conduct must be bounded by the law and the right of others to enjoy the event, and should not offend or be abusive to others. We ask all guests to adhere to the following code of conduct:

  • Guests shall be respectful of all other guests, fans, participants, referees, entertainers, athletes, arena staff and arena property.
  • Guests shall not willfully or maliciously disturb a guest/employee with a loud unreasonable noise and shall not interfere in other guests' enjoyment of the event (verbal or physical harassment).
  • Guests shall hold their ticket stub and sit in the ticketed seat location.
  • Guests who drink alcoholic beverages shall do so in a responsible manner.
  • Guests shall smoke only in designated areas at SaskTel Centre.
  • Guests shall refrain from using offensive language, making obscene gestures, throwing objects, and possessing prohibited items.
  • Guests shall never enter the playing area, the performance area or interfere with the event in any fashion.
  • Guests shall comply with the direction and instructions of SaskTel Centre staff.
  • Guests shall not sell tickets or merchandise on SaskTel Centre property.
  • Any other conduct deemed by SaskTel Centre to be inappropriate to the peace and good order of events or which may adversely affect the safety of persons or property, will be handled immediately by our staff.
  • All SaskTel Centre guests are expected to maintain reasonable and appropriate behavior at all times. Guests who fail to comply with the SaskTel Centre Code of Conduct are subject to ejection from the Arena. We want all our guests and fans to enjoy their visit to SaskTel Centre. If, at any time, you cannot enjoy the event to its fullest, please speak with any SaskTel Centre staff member.

Guest Services Policy Guide

This guide is intended to highlight some of the features of SaskTel Centre. If you need more information, you may visit Guest Services located on the main concourse at Section E. You may also reach a SaskTel Centre representative by calling (306) 975-3155 during regular business hours or texting (306) 491-7777 during any event.

Alcohol Management

For most events at SaskTel Centre, alcoholic beverages are available for purchase. SaskTel Centre staff is trained in responsible alcohol management. Alcohol sales will be limited to up to two alcoholic beverages per customer per transaction*. All guests may be required to show ID to purchase alcohol. Guests are not permitted to bring in alcoholic beverages from outside and may not leave with alcohol purchased inside SaskTel Centre. Alcohol service will come to an end at a predetermined time at each event**. Management reserves the right to refuse the sale of alcohol to any guest.

Please be aware that it is the policy of SaskTel Centre to require all guests who appear to be forty (40) years of age or younger to present a valid form of ID with proof of age in order to purchase alcoholic beverages at the venue. Individuals who engage in the purchase of alcoholic beverages for minors or minors presenting falsified identification will be evicted from SaskTel Centre and reported to Saskatoon Police Service. SaskTel Centre reserves the right to deny entry to anyone who appears to be impaired.

*On occasion the number of alcoholic beverages may be reduced to one. This is at the discretion of SaskTel Centre management.

Allergies

SaskTel Centre management appreciates that persons with allergies have specific concerns relating to their allergies that impact their ability to attend and enjoy events and makes best efforts to accommodate persons with allergies.

Peanuts are not available at SaskTel Centre, though products containing nuts are sold. Persons with allergic conditions that restrict diet may bring food or non-alcoholic beverages into SaskTel Centre for personal consumption, subject to event security restrictions and management approval.

Animals

Animals or pets of any kind are prohibited at SaskTel Centre with the exception of service animals for guests with disabilities. Service animals must be harnessed, leashed or tethered at all times, unless special circumstances exist, and will be required to rest in the seating area of the individual with a disability, rather than in the aisle. A guest whose service animal poses a threat to the safety of other guests and employees, or whose animal is not housebroken, may be asked to escort the animal off the premises.

Bag Searches

SaskTel Centre asks all guests to arrive early and travel light. All persons and bags are subject to search. Bags larger than 12x12x12 or backpack style bags are not permitted in the venue. SaskTel Centre does not provide an area to check bags, coats or any other personal belongings. We are not responsible for any property that is lost, stolen, or damaged.

Banners/Signs

Unless otherwise specified by teams or touring act management, SaskTel Centre allows guests bringing small signs, banners, posters and flags inside the building to show fan support during events. The following guidelines apply:

  • Item must be related to the event
  • Item may not be attached to a stick/pole
  • Item may not be larger than 11" x 17" in dimension
  • Item may not be hung, attached, or displayed on any part of the building
  • Item may not contain or display obscene/offensive language and/or pictures, as determined by SaskTel Centre or team/event management
  • Item may not be constructed or displayed in a manner that may obstruct the view of other guests or in any way create a safety hazard for others as determined by SaskTel Centre management

Bottles and Containers

Outside food and beverages, including water, are not permitted in SaskTel Centre at any time. This includes personal water bottles and travel mugs. Parents with small children may bring plastic bottles of formula or milk inside of the venue.

Cameras

Professional cameras are prohibited at all events at SaskTel Centre unless accompanied by appropriate facility media credentials. Video cameras and audio recorders are also prohibited. This policy will be strictly enforced. You may bring in non-professional or disposable cameras. However, for some events, cameras of any type and/or flash photography may be completely prohibited. If unsure of camera policy for an event, please contact SaskTel Centre to confirm (306) 975-3155.

Children

Please check the event profile for your specific event for the minimum age requirement prior to your purchase of tickets. For most events, all children who have reached their second birthday require a ticket to gain admittance to SaskTel Centre. Any child who has yet to reach their second birthday does not require a ticket, however, they may not occupy their own seat and must sit on a parent's or guardian's lap. Please note, that for certain children's events (such as the performances of Disney Live!), all children who have reached their first birthday require a ticket. For Saskatoon Blades games, children aged two (2) and under get in free with the purchase of an adult ticket. Please contact the SaskTel Centre Box Office to more information.

Coat Check

SaskTel Centre does not provide an area to check coats or any other personal belongings. We are not responsible for any property that is lost, stolen, or damaged.

Doors Open

Unless otherwise stated, guests will be able to enter SaskTel Centre one hour prior to the scheduled start time of most events.

First Aid

First-aid is located on the Main Concourse across from section Z. EMS attendants are on hand during all events at SaskTel Centre. Please inform a SaskTel Centre employee if first-aid assistance is needed.

Gift Cards

Gift cards for use at the concessions are available for purchase, in any denomination. It may be redeemed at all concession stands. For information, please call 306-975-3155.

Guest Assist Line

If you require assistance for any reason at an event call or text 306-491-7777. When texting, please provide your seat location (section, row and seat number) and the nature of the issue.

Inclement Weather Policy

SaskTel Centre rarely cancels or postpones events due to inclement weather. Please be advised that tickets for all events are sold on a no-refund, no-exchange basis. This stipulation is clearly marked on each ticket. Should a decision be made to cancel or postpone an event, this information will be posted immediately on our website.

Lost and Found

Please contact SaskTel Centre lost and found line (306) 975-2903 to inquire about the possible recovery of any lost items. If you have lost an item while at an event, please speak with a nearby staff member for further assistance.

Merchandise/Souvenirs

Event merchandise can be purchased at various merchandise stands located throughout SaskTel Centre. Saskatoon Blades merchandise is also available at the Frozen Pond, the official retail store located across from section Z in the Main Concourse. Saskatchewan Rush merchandise is located at Section E, Section X, Section 15

Prohibited Items

  • Alcoholic beverages, illegal substances
  • Animals (with the exception of service animals for guests with disabilities)
  • Backpacks (bags, non-backpacks smaller than 12x12x12 are permitted)
  • Banners or large signs of any kind
  • Bottles, cans, thermoses, and other beverage containers
  • Cameras, professional or with detachable lenses. Small point & shoot cameras are permitted.
  • Clothing or material with profane language or obscene graphics
  • Fireworks, flares or other pyrotechnics
  • Headwear or clothing that may impede the view of guests
  • Laptop computers, iPad, or tablets
  • Laser pointer devices, noisemakers which produce an excessive volume of noise such as megaphone or air-powered horns.
  • Strollers, sticks or poles, umbrellas
  • Video cameras, monopods and tripods
  • Weapons (knives, box-cutters, firearms, etc.)
  • ANY OTHER ITEM DEEMED DANGEROUS OR INAPPROPRIATE

Recycling

SaskTel Centre encourage all fans to recycle. The recycling program at SaskTel Centre includes: recycling containers on all concourse levels, and in the suites. Please check the signage on the recycling containers to ensure you're recycling the proper items.

Re-Entry

SaskTel Centre has a no re-entry policy, except in the case of medical situations or emergencies.

Patrons with medical emergencies or other emergencies who want to leave and return to the building must report to a Door Event Staff member located at the exit points for further instructions.

Refunds & Exchanges

SaskTel Centre has a no refund, no exchange policy on tickets for all events.

Smoking

SaskTel Centre is a smoke free building.

This includes electronic cigarettes and chewing tobacco.

In compliance with City of Saskatoon Bylaw #8286, there is no smoking, including electronic cigarettes, permitted anywhere in SaskTel Centre. This policy is strictly enforced. Violation of this bylaw is grounds for ejection.

Guests who wish to smoke during a concert or event are asked to use the designated smoking are at Section T/U

Standing

During some concerts, the artists may request that guests be permitted to stand immediately in front of their seats during the entirety of the performance. On those occasions, standing guests shall continue to be respectful of others around them and avoid blocking the view of other guests. Guest must not stand in aisle ways or in front of another person's seat to view the event. Standing on seats or any other building structure is not permitted and may result in ejection from SaskTel Centre.

Tablets & IPads

Tablets, IPad or laptop computers larger are prohibited during SaskTel Centre events. Exception is made for media with appropriate credentials for sporting or major events.

Guests will not be permitted to access SaskTel Centre's wireless connection.

Temperature

The temperature inside SaskTel Centre during hockey games is maintained at approximately 65 degrees. Of course, the temperature may vary depending on your proximity to the ice surface. We suggest that you consider wearing layered clothing or bring a jacket or sweater if you are attending a hockey game.

The temperature inside SaskTel Centre for all other events may vary greatly due to logistics and artist requests. The artist may also ask us to adjust the temperature to their liking so that they are more comfortable for their performance. Even if you are attending a concert during the winter, you may want to consider wearing light clothes under your heavier layers.

Water Fountains

For your convenience, water fountains are located on the Main Concourse throughout SaskTel Centre. Please reference the concourse maps for exact locations.

Whistle Policy

As a courtesy to your fellow ticketholders, we ask that you do not walk around in the seating area until there is a stoppage in play (during hockey games). During other events, we ask that you wait for a break between songs to walk around so that you do not block the view of those ticketholders who are seated. We thank you for complying with this.

For safety and as a courtesy to other ticketholders, please do not sit or stand in the aisles. Aisles should be kept clear at all times.
