Privacy Policy

SaskTel Centre (“we,” “our,” “us”) respects your privacy and values your trust and confidence. This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) applies to our website at www.sasktelcentre.com and our affiliated websites and onlne services that link to or post this Privacy Policy (collectively the “Websites”), and explains how we collect, use, and disclose information through the services during the regular course of business. By using the Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Please note that this Privacy Policy does not apply to any information that is collected or obtained through sites or services that do not link to this Privacy Policy (including the Saskatoon Blades, Saskatchewan Rush, Saskatchewan Rattlers). SaskTel Centre is not responsible for the privacy practices of other site accessed through links on any of our websites.

1. Information Collected by SaskTel Centre

When completing transactions with you including signing up for contests or sweepstakes, participation in surveys, submit comments or content or directly contact us with questions or feeback, we may ask you for some or all the following types of information:

  • Contact information, such as name, email address, postal address, and telephone number;
  • Unique identifiers, such as a username or password;
  • Demographic information, such as gender;
  • Geolocation data;
  • Financial information, such as credit card or other payment information;
  • Communitions preferences;

We do not collect any personal information unless you provide it to us voluntarily.

2. How SaskTel Centre May Use Collected Information

  • Select Business Partners: With your permission, we may share your information with our tenant teams, Saskatoon Blades, Saskatchewan Rush, Saskatchewan Rattlers or select business partners so that they can provide you with special offers, promotional materials, and other materials that may be of interest to you. We take measures to help ensure that our partners protect the confidentiality, integrity, and security of any information we share with them. However, we are not responsible for the privacy practices of our business partners, which may use your information for their own purposes. Please review the privacy policies of these third parties to familiarize yourself with their practices.

5. Suspicious Email

It is our policy not to email you or send you electronic communication to request non-public personal information or account information (such as username or password). If you receive an unsolicited email or other electronic communication that appears to be from SaskTel Centre but you suspect may be from another source and might be fraudulent, please contact us at media@sasktelcentre.com.

6. Cookies, Similar Technologies, and Advertising

  • The websites use technologies such as cookies, tags and scripts. These technologies are used for a variety of purposes, such as analyzing trends, administering the Services, analyzing how users interact with the Services, and gathering demographic information. By using the websites, you consent to our use of cookies and similar technologies.
  • In addition, we many allow third parties to place and read their own cookies, beacons, tags, scripts and similar technologies to collect information through the websites. For example, third party service providers may use these technologies to collect information that helps us with traffic measurement, research, and analytics.
  • Users can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level. If you reject cookies, you may still use our Services, but your ability to use certain features may be limited.

7. Storage and Protection of Information

SaskTel Centre will keep personal information for a reasonable period of time in order to fulfill the identified purposes, or as required or permitted by law, whichever is longer. Retention of information will depend on the type of information. 

Personal information will be stored with a reasonable amount of security. SaskTel Centre will take reasonable precautions to safeguard your information, including but not limited to physical measures, technological tools, and organizational controls. 

Where personal information is no longer required to fulfill the identified purposes, or where an individual has requested that we delete his or her personal information, it will be made anonymous or will be destroyed in a manner that will protect it from unauthorized access or disclosure.

8. Children's Online Privacy

SaskTel Centre does not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information directly from children under the age of 18.

9. Access/Choice/Retention

You may choose to receive promotional emails, newsletters, and similar communications from us. You may opt-out of receiving commercial emails from us by clicking on the opt-out or “unsubscribe” link included in the commercial emails you receive. Please note we respond to your opt-out requests within a reasonable time period. Your opt-out request will not apply to messages that you request or that are not commercial in nature. For example, we may contact you concerning any purchases you have made with us, even if you opt-out of receiving unsolicited commercial email messages. 

You may opt-out of location based services at any time by editing your device settings. 

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
